Chris was introduced to lifting as a freshman in high school and became enamored with getting stronger. Through high school and into college, this desire brought him into the world of competitive lifting. Over the years, he has competed in powerlifting, strongman, and weightlifting. This passion for lifting brought him in contact with the world of coaching, specifically in the world of collegiate athletics as a strength and conditioning coach. There he was fortunate to learn from some of the best Olympic weightlifters in America at the time who also happened to be fantastic coaches. His experiences in collegiate athletics, competitive lifting, and working in clinical settings, have brought him into contact with some of the best in the business. Chris's passion for lifting is equally matched by his love for coaching (and deadlifting) as anyone who has spoken or trained with him can tell you.
Derek was a gifted athlete and leader from a very young age. Athletics and performance lead Derek seeking to serve others by volunteering as a middle school and high school girls basketball coach where he made an impact on numerous athletes and families. While attending West Texas A&M University, Derek found a passion for learning about the human body and performance. He oversaw the Human Performance Research Laboratory and assisted in teaching classes and some of his job functions included assisting in re-vamping the strength and conditioning program for the football program, nutrition programs for students and general populations, body fat compositions for all student athletes, testing for cardiac abnormalities of all athletes, and the general population upon request. He ultimately presented research at two national conferences of the American College of Sports Medicine. Derek went on to build a fitness, health, & nutrition consulting company that serviced clients throughout the United States and internationally while partnering with local physicians to serve patients’ needs. His passions are loving and serving others by creating custom programs, educating his clients, and coaching them through the peaks and valleys of life, while developing and coaching young professionals… and lifting, and competing, nutrition, and goal setting, and anything that can push you out of your comfort zone in order to get you to be where you WANT and NEED to be!
All throughout Justin's life, he has always loved being physically active from playing sports to lifting weights in the gym. As he began his college degree in exercise science he found a strong passion in research pertaining to Kinesiology. As a published author, Justin is committed to applying up-to-date research with his clients and their exercise programs. Some of his specializations include working with cancer survivors, clinical post-rehab patients, and general population. Along with that, one of his favorite exercise tools that he likes to implement into client workouts is the TRX suspension trainer.
